Updates!

Well we had our first Christmas together! We had so much fun! :]] But getting used to balancing time with both our families for the holidays is definitely going to be a learning experience for a few years!

Well I am definitely starting to show! I've been lucky and have been able to hide it for the last 5 months. But it looks like since I've started my 6th month and almost into my 7th it has definitely popped out! I'm so excited for our little guy to get here! He is moving more and more every day! Jud can even feel him now! :]] We went to a double feature tonight with Jud's family and through both movies he was kicking like crazy! He also seems to know when his dads hand is on my stomach; he will dance around for him!

For the last month or two me and Jud have been working towards the goal of going to the temple and getting sealed. Since we started this journey it has definitely had its ups and downs. I have learned that patience is a virtue. We have been reading our scriptures and praying together each night; and it is amazing how such a little thing can impact your relationship so much! I can honestly say that I have never loved Jud more than I do now! My stress has also been cut in half, Jud is helping more and more everyday with helping me keep the house clean with both of our busy work schedules. I'm sure he is going to be lots of help when the baby comes and he will be an amazing father! We are half way done with the missionary lessons and then we get to start the temple prep classes! Before too long we should be getting sealed! :]]

During the Christmas break one of my friends came down to visit. Unfortunately we were unable to get our busy schedules to match up; so we were unable to get together. Which sucks, because I miss hanging out with all my old friends. But ever since we all got married and started college and graduated from high school it seems like we all have so many different things going on. Life just seems to keep getting faster; and with me becoming pregnant and working and everyone else working along with school and moving to different states we don't ever see each other. Some days I just wish we could all go back to high school days. Like they always say, you never know what you have till it's gone. Hopefully one day we can all take a vacation together or something. Ha someday! :]] But you can always hope.

The last couple months I have grown really close to Jud's sisters. I have always wanted to have an older sister, mostly just because I have always been the oldest in my family! But now I have 5 older sisters and 3 younger ones! (counting my own little sister)

All in all I would say that I am loving life right now! I have a healthy baby on the way, a cute little puppy to keep me company when Jud is gone, the love of an amazing and supportive man who I get to call my husband, supportive and loving parents, and everything that I could ever ask for!

So that is basically what has been going on the last couple months and how I have been feeling! I feel a little better having said all this. I will hopefully have pics of my belly and ultrasound pics up after the new year. I have my next Dr. apt on the 14th of January and I'm supposed to be getting an ultra sound too. So once we get those pics I will see if I can get all those posted! :]]

IT'S A BOY

Well we have FINALLY found out what we are having! It's a boy; and we couldn't be any more excited! When we were getting the ultra sound he was moving like crazy and I was able to start connecting those movements with feelin him! It was competely AMAZING! They also got a new ultra sound machine so we got to do it in 3D! We had a movie made and pictures taken! Yea know; the whole bit! So now we are preparing for our little boy to emerge into this world! Hurry up please!

Our Life Together!

Well along with the new news that we are having a baby not a whole lot else has happened. Just working and loving! I have a couple pictures of our house but other than that we have just been staying busy hanging out with family! We do find out in about a week what we are having; Nov. 12! I can't wait! So here are a couple pictures of what little has been going on! :]]

This is the spare room that I turned into Jud's man room where he could work on his airplanes. This is also where we put everything else that we need to store. It looks different now because it is filled with baby furniture for the nursery! Which I will hopefully be able to get started on in a little bit! I'll be sure to post pictures. It will look a lot different after a good Ole' paint job.

The spare bathroom

The living room

Kitchen!

Our bed and the cool old window that my cousin helped me put vinyl in.

Now we are to the master bath and I LOVE this tub! All it needs is jets!

My sink......

His sink! If we ever move, this is DEFINATLY can't do without! Then off to the right of my sink there is the toilet and shower... but I didn't take a picture of that!

The vinyl I put above the window over the bath tub. If you cant see it it says, "If nothing ever changed there'd be no butterflies" :]] That is pretty much the basics of what our house looks like!
Hopefully I will be able to keep up on this blog a little better! Maybe I'll start one for our little one!

Charger

Well after my family lost Max we couldn't stand not having a dog in the house. Anyone who has had a pet in the house, and then suddenly they are gone, they know what I mean. It just doesn't feel right. So we began the hunt to find Miniature Schnauzer pups; and within a couple of weeks we found some! A girl me and Jud went to school with, Brandy Peters, breeds them and she had just had a new litter! It was perfect! So we went over met all of the cute little puppies and fell in love with them! Me and Jud decided it would be fun to get one to start our new wedding life with! So we got the only little black pup they had and my parents got one that looks just like Max did! We named ours Charger and they named theirs Griffin. I'm so glade we got them both! They love playing together and act really sad if they don't get to see each other everyday.
At first having a puppy was fun! Then we had to start training him. Boy were we in for it! After replacing all the blinds in our house and going through three bottles of stain cleaner, he is now trained!
We got him when he was 6 weeks old and now his one year old birthday is only a month away! I can't believe how much he has grown; and I'm so glade that we got him! It really helps with the loneliness and quietness of being home alone when Jud is working late. I don't think we could ever trade him for anything!

Me and Charger after church

Probably 2 or 3 months old now! This was the day before he got his first hair cut!

This is "The" look. The personality Charger has is crazy! He acts like a little hairy person! He even pouts! This is his mad look... if you couldn't tell.

His "wing man" shirt! Jud loves it... Charger hates it.

This is his new favorite new position to sleep in.

His first time going fourwheeling! :]] So much fun! Although it was a little cold!

Sleeping in the bath tub...with his favorite toy; a hedgehog.

I don't know how this is comfy, but he sleeps like this almost every night.

Our cute little boy! This was taken today when he was helping Jud mow the lawn!

Where has the time gone!?

Well since my last post me and Jud have gotten married, got a cute puppy, and I am now 18 weeks pregnant! So lets start at the beginning along with a couple pictures!
So first we had the wedding! It was awesome and I'm so glad that I have an amazingly talented mom; and of course without the help of everyone else we couldn't have pulled it off!

The Bridesmaids!

The Kiss! Yum!

One of the flower girls. Brooklin, my second cousin! Ain't she so cute!

My shoes! Probably the best idea we have ever had! I would have died in heels!

The Groomsmen, and Uncle Doug who married us!

My new family! Lots of new siblings! I LOVE it! :]]

Husband and wife relaxing

Our cake!

Emma (on the left) one of the flower girls, walking with Lexi (on the right) who was the ring bearer, then Brooklin (in the back) who is also a flower girl.
Most of the pictures were from by grandpas camera, so that explains why there are some peoples heads in the pictures! All in all it was an AMAZING day and I'm so glad I'm finally married to my best friend; and now we are expecting a little one!

Max Twostripes: June 22,1999- January 31, 2010

Max was our pet for about 5 or 6 years. We got him from an elderly man, Jim, who my mom did laundry for when she worked at the Clean Spot. Well one day Jim was put in a retirement home and was no longer able to keep Max. So he decided to give him to my family becasue he knew he would be very loved and happy. He came into our lives at a very good time. My mom was wanting another baby; but after having Jake and the complications that came with it, she was no longer able to have kids. None of us thought we would get so attached to him so fast. He was just like a person. He always wanted to sit on the couch by someone, but in order for him to get up you had to scoot over to the right to make room for him because he would only sit on your left side. He didn't like to eat alone, so he would run back into the laundry room where his food was, grab a mouth full, come back into the living room, drop the food, and eat it piece by piece. It usually took him about 20 minutes to eat his filling. If he was bored and no one would play with him he would play with him self; tossing balls up into the air and catching them and barking and rolling on the floor upside down. He had a lot of just funny little quirks that made him; him. He knew just how to touch anyones life that he entered into. When you would get home; no matter how bad of a day you had, Max would make it better. As soon as you walked through that door his little tail would just start going a million miles and hour and he would howl at you. That was a cure all for a bad day. He knew just how to fix everything. But Max wasn't just fun to be around, he was comforting too. He had eyes that just melted your heart, "sweet eyes" is what we called them. He used to always sleep in my room, and any night that I was crying alone in my room, he would lay by me and ask me to pet him and let me talk to him. If I was laying down I would have to be careful to keep my mouth shut becasue he liked to like the tears off your face. He helped me through so much. In fact anytime anyone cried he could sense it and would go to that room and just lay by that person; offering them his comfort and peaceful presence. But when Max stopped running around, and howling, and just being Max, we knew something was wrong. The first part of January was when we really noticed it. We took him into the vet and found out that he had gotten into D-Con, or rat poisoning. So they purscribed him some antibiotics and vitamin K for the next 10 days. Once we were done with that, he perked up for a couple days, but then fell right back into the same pattern. Sleeping lots, never wanting to play, slow moving. We thought that maybe his food was making him sick, so we switched it. But still no change. So we tried switching his food dishes; maybe there was a bacteria growing in them. But even that didn't help. Soon it looked like he was losing weight, you could feel his bones more prominently, and you could tell that his muscles were starting to atrophy. Finally on January 31, he began to get bloated. He really just looked like what he used to after he had eaten a lot of food; a full belly. We were all sitting on the couch watching TV and we could hear Max trying to breathe. He was laying next to me on the couch and you could tell that he was laboring really hard to get any air. Then it started getting raspier and hollow sounding. So my dad called the vet and we were supposed to go in at 4:30. Once it was about time to take max in we all got our coats on and went. I think we could all sense it was the beginning of the end. The ride over there was painful, he couldnt get comfortable, and I just wanted to have magic and make him feel better. Dr. Quil took us into the examination room and first weighed him and listened to his heart and lungs. Then we tried to take some blood out of his front legs. He had to try to do it on both legs just becasue it was taking so long to get it out that it was actually clotting in the syringe. Then we started talking about the Dr.'s suspicions of what it was, then he went out and did his blood work. My puppy was just laying on the cold table breathing so hard with his belly just getting tighter and tighter. When the doctor came back in we could all see the worried expresion on his face. He started explaining his blood work. He had almost triple the amount of white blood cells that he should, and virtually no red blood cells; which include platletts. Dr. Quil told us that he probably had a bone marrow disease of some sort or lukemia. As the doctor was crying we all lost it and started crying. I looked at my poor Maxie laying on the table and could tell he was tired, and couldnt fight much longer. His sweet eyes were fading and you could see that he was scared. Dr. Quil suspected that the reason why his stomach was getting so large was because he had to platletts to cover the vessle walls, he was bleeding internally. And it was just all going to his stomach. We asked if he was in very much pain and the doctor said he probably wasnt feeling anything sharp like a bone break, but he was certanly miserable. We decided to let the doctor take him out of the room to get an x-ray. Not more than a minute later he came running back to the room telling us he was quiting and ran right to another room with limp max in his arms. Everyone started crying even harder, I could feel my heart being ripped out of my chest and laying there next to Max. Dr. Quil called us into the room. Slowly we filed in there to see our Max laying on a table with an air mask on his poor little snout, just looking tired, and scared. He expalined to us that his respiratory system quit. All I wanted to do was to kiss him better. The doctor asked my mom to hold the mask on his face while he stuck a needle into his abdomen where it was bulging. Imediatly the syringe filled with blood. Thats when we knew for sure that he wasnt going to pull through. Dr. Quil wasn't even optomistic of his chances. So we made a family decision to let him go. Gradually we all said our good byes and kissed our puppy for the last time. The hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life was leave him, just walk out of the room and let him meet his fate. I wanted to be there to make sure he was ok and not scared. But I knew that I probably wouldnt be able to stand having my puppy die in my arms. We filed out to the front room slowly all crying harder and harder. We knew what was going on in the other room. He was gone and it killed me. After what seemed like half an hour Dr. Quil back out with a box... our Maxie. He gave it to my dad and gave us his best wishes. It was lightly snowing when we burried him in the back yard. In a box that we had at our house. We put his bed, his favorite blanket, his favorite treats, and all of his toys in there with him. He was out of pain, but I knew there was forever going to be a scare on all of our hearts.
We think when Dr. Quil took Max out of the room to get the x-ray was when Max knew it was ok to go. Because he knew that we wouldnt be there to see it. Its really hard not coming home to a welcoming howl, or hearing his feet on the hard wood floor. Sometimes I catch my self thinking I heard his tags jinggling like he is coming into the next room. Max was one in a million. He can never be replaced, but he will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace Maxie, we love you SO much. Jim will take good care of you till we get to see you again. Thank you for helping me through all the tough times. We miss you.

Catching Up

Well me and Jud have started school back up again. It's pretty crazy. We have also moved Jud into the house a couple weeks ago! FINALLY! :]] We love it! We are there all the time; and his sister Jessie has moved in with him, but we are now just learning that she has found an apartment and is moving out this week. We are also getting down to the wire on wedding planning. It's in SIX weeks! And there is still a ton of stuff to do! All of the brides maid dresses are done, and my wonderful aunt is now working on one of the flower girl dresses: brooklins to be exact. But we still need to make our announcements (which we are actually taking care of tomorrow) figure out the cake and reception food, who is going to marry us (thats a big one), if you can play the wedding march in the church, if we can get the church a couple days before the wedding for decorating, my bridal shower is on its way and getting planned; pretty excited for that, then we need to finish paying for my dress, get it fitted, figure out our signature book, then talk to Robyn and Dirk about flowers, and tux's, then once we do that we need to get everyone fitted for a tux! But the other night me and my mom put together all of the center pieces, they are pretty sweet. I'm excited I hope people have good reactions toward them. We also registered the other day at Bed, Bath and Beyond, Target, and Wal-Mart. Then also the other day we bought our marriage license! It was crazy!!! I felt so old! But thats the lastest on our lives.

Scary Movies

Jud has been on this kick about scary movies and has wanted to watch some for the longest time! So today we rented some. Bad idea. We only watched the one and it scared me so bad that I started bawling in the middle of the movie. Jud said it didnt really scare him. But I kinda think it made him a little paranoid. On a better note we are slowly getting things figured out for the apartment. We have had to have Robyn (Jud's mom) co-sign with us, and we actually just turned in her application today! So hopefully she gets accepted and then Jud can move into the house this weekend!! My parents are also going on a little vacation! They leave the 9th (this saturday) and come home the 16th (next saturday). They are going to Las Vegas for some convention for my mom's work where she gets to meet Travis Pastrana, and Jolean! Then they are going to visit my grandparents in Arizona. Also this Saturday we are supposed to be getting our engagement pictures. I'm actually kind of excited! Then yesterday we got all of the bridesmaids together and went and found some shoes for them all and got all of their dresses fitted! I can't wait!! Everyone says it goes fast; and I guess when I think about it it is going fast, but at the moment it really doesnt feel like its going that fast. Finally on Monday me and Jud start school again. I'm not really excited, but Judly says that he is nervous. But once he gets through his first class, and realizes that it really isnt that bad and he will be just fine! :]]

Happy 2010!

Well my post before last was me talking about us getting this apartment. Well that fell through. The other people decided to take it. Bummer. But on the bright side, Joel Ashton one of my dad's really good friends was looking for some renters just because he has a little trailer house in millhollow that he rents out. So of course me and Jud were interested. We went and looked at it and its two bedroom, two bath; and its $550 a month.... still cheaper than some other apartments that we found! Crazy huh? Well long story short, before you move in you have to fill out an application and get approved. With this you get your background checked, and your credit checked; which we have none of. Bad idea. So to start the process Jud and Jessie had to turn in seperate applications, just because they are going to be the first ones living there. Well they didn't get approved becasue Jessie didn't make enough a month, and neither of them had any credit. So we talked to the lady again, and she said that we could have Jud's parents fill out and application and try to get accepted. Than that would be kinda like the co signing with us. Plus the lady (Lori) said that if she see's that the money is coming from us, and not his parents and that we are paying on time than that will help build our credit. Which would be awesome. Because Jud is making payments on my wedding band just for that sole purpose. So hopefully everything works out and his parents get accepted. Then Jud can move into that house like right after we find out! Yay! :]] Also we are changing the venue. Instead of our wedding being at the Americinn, we're gonna do it at the stake center. Where it will be free, which means we could drap the walls in that cool fabric. Ha ha I dont know what it is called. But its gonna be so pretty; and im determined that it will not look like a gym! It is also now 2010 for any of you who didn't know! :]] Hope its a good one for everyone! I know that it will be for me! Yahoo!

Moving Up

Well, I'll just cut right to the chase. We're moving the wedding date up three weeks. Just because we already almost have everything done for the wedding; not because im preggers! I'm so excited!!! Of course we still have a bit of work to get done, but nothing too huge! Hope everyone can make it! :]]
